The Wishes Story
Once upon a time, there was a kind Spirit who selflessly worked for his master and mistress. Over time, he became very attached to them. He loved them so much that he decided to stay longer with them.
Envying him, other spirits set their Leader against him. The mischievous Leader ordered the Spirit to go to serve in a house in distant Norway.
Before leaving, the Spirit said to his Master: “I do not know for what fault I am sent away, but to leave this place is my destiny.
However, I can grant you three wishes before I leave.
Wasting no time, the Master wished wealth and riches. It was carried out immediately. Wealth brought with it fear of thieves, beggars, and taxes from the king.
The master was restless and was always restless, irritable, and unhealthy. Then he made a second wish to become a simple, ordinary person again. The Spirit made him ordinary again.
The master finally made his last wish and asked for wisdom, peace of mind, and a life without worries.
