The Greedy Dragon Story

Once upon a time, there were four little mice in a big castle. The bore was the eldest and Yoba was the youngest. Every day traders brought loaves of bread, nuts, and cheese to the castle.

“I’m the oldest, so I’ll get the biggest piece!” Boret said. Gilma and Hargon came next. I never get anything! Yoba yelled.

One day the merchant did not come. “The big dragon is blocking their way,” said Squiggy the squirrel, panting.

Boret said: “What shall we do? We must find a way.” Yoba replied, “I have an idea, but if it works, you must promise me that you will always share the food equally… Everyone agreed. The mice collected many jars of jam and took them to the dragon’s cave.

The dragon ate them all and got a terrible stomach ache. He clutched his stomach and groaned, “Oh, I’m dying.” Mice hid nearby.

Yoba shouted from the hideout, “If you go to the mountains, you will never have a stomach ache again.” The dragon believed them and left.

The merchants began to come again, and the mice were very pleased.
