The White Rose Story

In the garden, overgrown with bushes, a white rose seemed to appear from under a pile of grass and weeds. It was white as snow, its petals were like velvet, and the morning dew shone on its leaves like brilliant crystals.

The flower couldn’t see itself, so she had no idea how beautiful she was. And so she spent several days of her life, until the withering began, not knowing that everyone around her admired her and her perfection: her perfume, the softness of her petals, her elegance.

She didn’t realize that everyone who saw her spoke well of her. The weeds that surrounded her were captivated by her beauty and lived in a state of fascination with her scent and sight. One hot sunny day, the girl was walking in the garden, thinking about how many lovely things Mother Nature gave us, when she suddenly saw a white rose in a forgotten corner of the garden.

The rose began to wither and wither. “It’s been a few days since the rain,” she thought, “if the rose stays here until tomorrow, it will wither completely.” I will take it home and put it in the beautiful vase that was given to me.”

so she did With all her love, she set the withering white rose into the water, in a beautiful colorful glass vase, and placed it by the window. I’ll put it here, she thought, so the flower can get some sun.

What the girl did not understand was that the reflection in the window meant that for the first time the rose saw herself and what she looked like. -“It’s me?” Rose thought. Little by little, its drooping leaves began to rise, stretch upward again towards the sun, and gradually the rose regained its former appearance.

When she fully returned to her best self, she looked at her reflection and saw that she was indeed a beautiful flower. She thought, “Wow! Until now, I didn’t understand who I was, how could I be so blind?” Rose realized that she had spent her days not appreciating her beauty, unable to see herself, unable to know who she really was.
