Sand And Stone Story
The story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. At some point along the way, they quarreled, and one friend punched the other in the face.
The one who was hit was offended, but without saying anything, he wrote in the sand: “TODAY my best friend hit me in the face.” They kept walking until they found an oasis where they decided to swim.
The one who was spanked got stuck in a quagmire and began to drown, but a friend saved him.
After the friend recovered from nearly drowning, he wrote on the stone: “TODAY my best friend saved my life.” Now you write in stone, why? “
Another friend replied, “When someone hurts us, we should write it in the sand, where the wind of forgiveness can erase it.
But when someone does something good for us, we have to engrave it in stone, where the wind can never erase it. “
