Two Frogs Story
A group of frogs were traveling through the forest, and two of them fell into a deep hole.
When the other frogs saw how deep the hole was, they told the two frogs that they were like dead.
The two frogs ignored the comments and struggled to jump out of the hole.
The other frogs kept telling them to stop, that they were like dead.
Finally, one of the frogs listened to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell and died.
The other frog continued to jump with all its might, And again the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die.
He jumped even harder and finally got out.
When he came out, the other frogs said, “Didn’t you hear us?” The frog explained to them that he was deaf.
He thought they were cheering him on all the time.
Two Frogs Moral
This story teaches us two lessons –
- There is the power of life and death in language. An encouraging word to someone who has fallen down can lift their spirits and help them get through the day.
- A destructive word for someone who has fallen may be what it takes to kill him. Be careful what you say. Speak life with those who cross your path. The Power of Words. Sometimes it is difficult to understand that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak words that rob another spirit to continue living in difficult times. What is special is the one who takes the time to support the other.
