The Frog Girl Story
Once upon a time, there was a poor childless couple. They wanted a child. Many years later, the woman gave birth to a child. But, to their surprise, instead of a normal human child, it was a frog girl! The couple raised their frog baby with the same love as a normal child.
She grew up to be an excellent singer. One day a prince passed by. Fascinated by her voice, he exclaimed: “What a beautiful voice! I want to marry the owner of this melodious voice.”
He had no idea that the singer was actually a frog! The frog girl agreed to marry the prince on one condition. “I will enter the palace and the bridal chamber in a closed carriage,” she said.
The prince agreed and they got married. At night, the frog jumped onto the bed, but the prince pushed it away in disgust. The poor frog girl was heartbroken and returned home.
The days have passed. Once the prince once again passed by her house and heard her singing. He wanted to marry the singer again.
This time, the frog girl agreed to marry him without any conditions. She was sitting in a small carriage pulled by a rooster.
Along the way, the prince met three fairies who gave him a beautiful horse-drawn carriage and many servants. The third fairy turned the frog girl into a beautiful girl. After that, the maiden and the prince lived happily ever after.
